Native American Room
The Native American Room has three themes: the Native Americans, the Chenango Canal, and the railroads.
The Native American display includes numerous artifacts including arrow heads, tools and baskets which were found locally. A large mural highlights a teaching area for the young. Also on display, are two canoes, one birch bark, and a dugout found in a pond in Pharsalia, NY in October 1963.

The Chenango Canal exhibit has maps that trace the route of the canal that flowed through the middle of the county from 1837 to 1877. Also available are account books, photos and packet boat posters.

The railroad exhibit has numerous artifacts including: station wagon signs from Guilford and Galena (North Norwich), lanterns, model trains, posters, tools, station clocks, and photographs.
